Why Do I Need To Hire A Process Server?

The common question often asked by individuals who need there papers served by a process server is why can't I serve the papers myself?

I always try to put myself in the other person shoes and explain that process servers are licensed officer's of the court  who have passed extensive background checks and are also a neutral third party. I usually take the time to explain the process and ease some of the emotional stress associated with process service.

Sometimes individuals are under the impression that process servers are just paper deliverers not much different than your pizza delivery person. However, serving legal papers is not always as simple as it sounds or looks on television.

The process server you hire and trust to serve your court documents should be professional, courteous and really needs to understand service of process and the rules associated with process serving. If the documents are not served properly or within the time frame required by the court your case could be thrown out.

It is important to hire a process service company who is experienced and professional with a proven track record. There are plenty of great Arizona Process Servers to choose from but beware of extremely low price quotes offering unlimited attempts for service of process.

I have received calls from customer's asking will we do unlimited attempts for a process service in Mesa,Chandler Tempe Or Gilbert. The answer is always the same... no. I than often pose a question to the person who ask, if you owned a business and someone wanted you to make unlimited attempts to personally serve a Order of Protection,Emergency Custody Papers,Child Custody,or a Summons for $45 or $60 would you do it? They often get quiet and the answer it often times no because the reason every business owner is in business regardless how nice they are is to make money. Let's be honest!

I think most people are reasonable and understand that any business owner's/Process Servers have to make a profit to survive. I believe at All About Serving Process Server our fees are reasonable and competitive. We are straight forward and have some of our prices listed on our website.
